Daniel J. DeWitt

Associate Attorney at The Campbell Law Group P.A.

Daniel is a business-minded Associate Attorney at The Campbell Law Group P.A. in Coral Gables and assists with a wide range of corporate and commercial litigation matters for Florida companies and private clients.

Daniel earned his B.S. in Business Management with a focus in Entrepreneurship from Bentley University and graduated cum laude from the University of Miami School of Law.

While in law school, Daniel was an Editor on the Inter-American Law Review and was a two-time winner and recipient of the best brief award for the University of Miami Entertainment and Sports Law Society's annual NFL Contract Negotiation Competition. Due to his success in this competition, Daniel was invited to represent Miami Law at Tulane Law's national competition against several other top law schools in the country two years in a row.

Prior to and during his educational career, Daniel started and was involved in multiple business ventures of his own. These experiences give Daniel a unique perspective in the representation of his clients and a deeper understanding of their businesses — from early-stage formation decisions to later disputes among owners, counterparties, and investors.

Prior to joining The Campbell Law Group, Daniel worked as a Securities Attorney at a national law firm, specializing in FINRA arbitration cases involving high-risk alternative investments. That background informs his approach to evidence-heavy commercial disputes, contract enforcement, and counsel for clients navigating regulated financial and business relationships.

At TCLG, Daniel supports matters across business litigation, contract disputes, shareholder and member conflicts, employment-related business issues, and day-to-day corporate counseling. He works closely with the firm's partners to deliver practical, business-first advice for clients in Miami-Dade County and throughout Florida.

Clients often look to Daniel for clear written analysis, negotiation support, and litigation preparation that respects both legal risk and operational realities. Whether the matter involves a commercial agreement, an ownership dispute, or a contested business claim, his goal is to help decision-makers move forward with a strategy they can execute.

Daniel practices from TCLG's Coral Gables office and collaborates across the firm's business-law, litigation, and employment-defense teams so clients receive coordinated counsel rather than siloed advice. He is admitted to The Florida Bar and focuses on practical outcomes for South Florida businesses.
