Advice for Employers

Hi, I'm Regina Campbell from The Campbell Law Group, and we just want to give a shout-out to all the employers. We're seeing a lot of FLSA cases, cases under the Fair Labor Standards Act, coming across our desk, and a lot of our existing clients are having some difficulties, and lawsuits are coming about. Today I want to take the time to talk to you about the importance of time recordkeeping, specifically.

A lot of employers get into a lot of trouble by failing to keep the right time records, which includes keeping track of what your employees are doing: when they come into work, when they leave, clocking in and out for their lunch breaks, or anything of that nature. It's very important that you know everything that your hourly employees are doing. So if you're stuck in any one of these lawsuits, we can help you if you have time records to prove what this employee has done.
